After seeing this website, Al Jazeera is hoping to interview individuals that have been affected by violence towards Native women during the North Dakota oil boom. This includes victims, activists, and anyone else in North Dakota who wishes to share their stories. Of course, there is absolutely no pressure to share your experiences if you are not comfortable doing so.
If you would like to use this platform to alert the public to issues such as human trafficking and rising rape rates in North Dakota, please email me at reliknight@gmail.com. I will be organizing this for an Al Jazeera television correspondent, who is hoping to assemble her story in the next couple of days.
Victims who wish to remain anonymous will be given as much privacy as possible using technologies such as face-blurring.
